Growing up in Japan Daiki Suzuki developed an early appreciation for the robust functionality and dependable quality of the styles being made and worn in America. That later became the foundation of his label Engineered Garments where he reimagines outdoor gear workwear and a range of classic staples through a fresh innovative perspective. We teamed up with him to develop a pair of limited-edition releases handcrafted by our artisans in Port Washington Wisconsin. Starting with a traditional double monk strap design he brought a bold rugged edge to a true cult favorite dress shoe. From the patchwork mix of materials used on the uppers to the Vibram Christy wedge sole every detail was handpicked by him and reflects his distinctive vision for reengineering heritage classics for today.
